DIN127 Spring Washer | Carbon & Stainless Steel Ship Washer
TheDIN127 spring washer is a split ring spring washer designed to prevent bolt loosening under shipboard vibration.
Its spring-back action maintains constant axial preload
— making it the standard anti-loosening ship washer paired with structural bolts on hull frames, bulkheads, and engine mounts.
We supply both carbon steel washer (spring steel, hardened and tempered) and stainless steel washer (A2/A4 316 grade) options.
Unlike a flat washer that only distributes load, the split-ring spring washer actively grips the bolt head and nut face to resist rotation from continuous vibration. Every batch is hardness-tested and dimensionally inspected.

For critical shipboard connections,
use the DIN127 spring washer together with a flat washer: flat washer against the workpiece for surface protection, then spring washer under the nut for vibration lock.
Carbon steel washer with HDG for above-deck zones; stainless steel washer (316) for seawater splash and submerged service.
