DIN6334 Galvanized White Blue Zinc Plated Hex Coupling Long Nut
TheDin6334 Fastener is a long hexagon coupling nut engineered to connect two threaded rods, studs, or bolts in tension applications where standard nut height is insufficient for required thread engagement. As a Hex Connector Thread Nut with extended body length of 1.5× to 3× the thread diameter, the DIN6334 Connecting Nut provides full-strength threaded coupling between externally threaded members, enabling rod extension, tension rod splicing, and structural tie-rod assembly without welding or secondary joining operations.
In ship engine room and structural applications, these long nuts serve as tie-rod connectors in generator stator frames, pump shaft extension couplings, valve stem actuator linkages, and machinery foundation hold-down assemblies. For assemblies requiring permanent attachment to a base plate, a Welding Nut with integrated projection may be employed; however for removable, adjustable, or maintenance-accessible connections, the DIN6334 connector nut provides superior field serviceability. As a Nut Standoff, the extended body elevates bolted connections above surrounding surfaces, creating clearance for adjacent components and facilitating wrench access in confined engine room spaces.
